Das 'Complete Crisper'
The New Crisper lid represents a major step in the development of Microwave Cookware. The lid is designed to enhance the crisping function by diverting more microwave energy to the underside of the Crisping Dish. It also protects the oven and magnetron from splashes and deposits of food residue thereby extending the life of the oven and keeping it free of stains and odours.

More uniform cooking
Microwave ovens have a tendency to overcook the sides and undercook the center. The raised metal edges of the lid balance this by shielding the sides and ensuring even microwave coverage throughout. This makes it ideal for heating dinners - just use the lid as a plate cover and you will get a perfect evenly heated meal.

Vented Cover
The lid design acts as a splash guard for your microwave while allowing steam to vent safely. This preserves the heat and ensures more even cooking (the fan in the microwave normally cools the surface of the food). The vented lid also serves as a perfect cover for a conventional frying pan.

Better Crisping
The crisper lid diverts more of the microwave energy to the underside of the crisper. This enhances the crisping function and allows for much shorter preheat times. There is now no need to reheat the crisper between cooking batches – simply load the next batch and start cooking.
