Ingredients:
1 level tablesp. Golden Syrup
1/2 cup 4oz Light brown sugar
1 stick / 4oz Butter
2 cups / 6oz Rolled Oats
Small pinch of salt
Handful of dried fruit or hazelnuts (optional)
Method:
Divide the bread in four and cut each
Place the Syrup, Butter & Sugar into a microwave proof bowl and cook on a Medium heat setting for 1 minute, or until melted. Stir half way through.
Add the rolled oats, raisins and nuts (if using) & salt. Mix well
Put the mixture in to the Crisping Dish and press down firmly until the top is level.
Cook for 4 minutes onhigh.
Cut into segments while still warm and leave in the dish until cool.
